Description of Deformations at Analysis of Processes of Metals Processing by Pressure. Part 3. Strained Condition and Consideration of Strengthening at Upsetting and Indentation into Half-Space

Problems of determination of deformed state of a blank and regard of strengthening by methods of applicable theory of plasticity are considered. New solutions of tasks of determination of deformed state of the blank in the process of upsetting and indentation into half-space are represented.

Comparison of Processes of Upsetting and Combined Upsetting (Upsetting + Upsetting with Torsion)

A new technological process of combined deformation – upsetting + upsetting with torsion is considered. Power consumption of upsetting and combined upsetting for different values of kinematic parameter (correlation of linear and angular velocities) and different geometry of deformation site have been determined and compared.

Research of Processes of Obtaining Elements of Flat Heat Exchangers by Local Molding of a Thin Sheet

In order to produce long sheet section with a large number of longitudinal corrugations of steel grade Х18Н10Т it is offered to use a method of alternating molding on section bending mill equipped with elastic and rigid working rolls. Possibility of obtaining given corrugated section from sheet billet with width up to 1mm has been researched by means of CAD. Experimental research on lab equipment has been carried out.

Forming Mechanical Properties of Fixing Hardware and Die Tool by Methods of Thermomechanical Processing

A Device for Identification of Rheological Properties of Plastically Compressible Materials

A device for identification of rheological properties of plastically compressible materials, in which labyrinth seal for working chamber tightness is applied, has been developed. By means of CAD of hydrostatic compression of powder billet deformed state of the device has been determined. Formulae for calculation of consumption of active agent through seals with consideration of deformation of plunger and barrel assembly are offered.

Possibilities of Magnetic Methods of Non-Destructive Testing For Determination of Dies Damaging

Possibilities of use of magnetic methods of non-destructive testing of dies damaging and remaining life of forging tools are considered. A number of consistent patterns for tools used for hot forging and cold forging and low temperature forming has been revealed experimentally.

Distribution of Material Incentives for Employees at Accommodation of Interests in Design and Technological Planning of Production

Methods of finding fields of compromise in design and technological planning of production have been studied, methods of limitation of material incentives of employees of relevant units, related to their skills, have been defined. A simulation model allowing elimination of contradictions between design and process engineers and correct distribution of resources allocated for material incentives among participants into organizational and technical system has been developed.
