Force Parameters and Form Changing of Blank at Plane Extrusion with Non Coaxial Arrangement of Punch and Die. Part 1. Kinematic and Stress States of Blank

On base of complete system of equations of plastic flow theory solution of the problem of kinematic and stress states of a blank at extrusion of U-shaped brackets under conditions of plane strain state in a general case of non-coaxial arrangement of a punch and a die is presented.

Influence of Parameters of Flat Knife on Technological Process of Tube Cutting

Experimental research of tubes’ cutting process with a flat knife is presented. Impact of the knife configuration on cutting force, sequence of cutting waste forming and blank separation from the tube along the knife stroke are determined.

Research of Process of Pressing of Composites on Base of Vanadium-Containing Powder of Iron

Results of research of a pressing process of vanadium-containing powders of iron composites with additions of Zn, Cu, P, C are presented. Peculiarities of contraction of each of powder compositions are revealed. On results of measurement of hardness appraisal of strength properties of green powder blanks has been carried out.

Intensification of Deep Drawing of Titanium Alloys Products

Results of experimental work of zinc coatings of titanium alloys blanks by means of treatment in molten salt are presented. It has been determined that such method of preliminary treatment allows intensification of processes of deep drawing of difficult-to-form materials.

Isothermal Stamping of Difficult-to-Form Heat-Proof Nickel Alloys

Results of development and industrial exploration of technological processes of isothermal stamping of gas turbine engines discs and other parts of difficult-to-form heat-proof nickel and titanium alloys are presented. Isothermal units for specialized hydraulic presses and compositions of super heat-proof and scale-resistant materials have been designed. Specially developed coatings which simultaneously serve as a lubricant and thermal insulation have been used for protection of blanks from oxidation and gas saturation.

Perfection of Shafts Forging with Use of Profiled Dies

Design of profiled dies ensuring production of a forged trimerous blank from the ingot is offered. With the aid of finite elements method simulation of process of forging with the mentioned dies has been carried out. It has been determined that forging with profiled dies ensures working of the axis zone of an ingot, and design of the trimerous blank conditions additional macro shears at further drawing out.

Simulation of Structurization in Metals at Severe Plastic Deformation

Structural mechanical model of structurization at severe plastic deformation is offered. Population of macroscopic parameters of stress-strain state of metal under deformation and results of analysis of observed evolution of parameters of its structure are used for appraisal of numeral characteristics of the model.
