The study of the constrained plastic flow of the flange of the workpiece during extracting the inner surface

There is received necessary formulas for the successful design of technological process of extraction on the inner surface taking into account the stage of deformation of the flange of the workpiece in terms of limiting its radial flow. High accuracy and reliability of the design formulas are confirmed by comparison with experimental data. In the course of these experiments measurements of forces are also performed at the stage of extraction of the cylindrical portion located in the matrix at the site of radius R. It is determined that the force required for constrained in the radial direction deformation of the flange can be slightly more or less than the force required for the subsequent exhaust phase of a smaller outer diameter. Studies clearly show that the extractor on the inner surface can be successfully used for the manufacture of products type of stepped plugs with a fairly complex shape of the outer surface or with a profiled inner surface.

Determination of quality parameters during the extraction of cylindrical details

Considered theoretical possibility of estimation of quality parameters for drawing cylindrical parts. Established component and the final distribution of the accumulated strain, taking into account the interdependent changes in the thickness and strain hardening. Determined the relative inaccuracy of linear and diametrical sizes with volume strain state.

Cold plastic deformation in metal forming processes

The effect of cold plastic deformation on the structure, phase composition and properties of metals and alloys. The efficiency of different methods of cold plastic deformation in processes of metal forming to form ultrafine and nanocrystalline structure, the preferred phase composition, increasing operational and technological properties of wrought products.

Modernization of forging hammers

Original method of increasing of impact efficiency during hammer upsetting is presented. It is proposed to modernize standard ram of hammer to ram with fillets. It will allows to use forging equipment with less capacity, reduce of number of hammer blows and provide of energy economy to compare with standard hammer.

The use of thermal barrier coatings for heating of billets of compressor blades from heat-resistant steels and subsequent extrusion

The results of researches of heat-shielding coatings on the basis of fine graphite and on the basis of silicates are given in the article. It is shown that the composition of thermal barrier coatings depends on the surface temperature of dies and water based lubricants reduce the surface temperature of dies on average 14 %. The use of thermal barrier coatings in combination with lubricating water-based materials allows to increase technical, economic and environmental performance of the process.
