Investigation of internal radial extrusion of a pipe blank.
Part 2. Determination of kinematic and stress states

Using the theory of plastic flow according to the method of A. L. Vorontsov, formulas are obtained that are necessary for calculating the stresses and force parameters of the process of internal radial extrusion of a pipe blank. The thrust force acting on the upper mandrel and the maximum pressure acting on the die wall are determined.

A reliable criterion for the strength and fracture of materials in a brittle and viscous state under complex loading is proposed, which is based on the dependence of the destructive factors: normal and tangential stresses on the values of individual components of the specific potential energy of deformation.

Strengthening of thin-walled cylindrical struts by plastic deformation

The problem of increasing the load-bearing capacity of thin-walled cylindrical racks by plastic deformation is considered in the article. The solution of this problem was obtained on the basis of the Buckhouse model of an isotropic body with anisotropic hardening. In this case, the plastic deformation of the workpiece and the post is carried out by means of internal pressure. Formulas are obtained for estimating the increased value of the conditional yield stress on the compression of the column and determining for this necessary internal pressure.
Use of the proposed method in the industry will increase the strength by 50–70 % of the racks made of thermally non-reinforced metals (for example, steel 1X18N9T).

The results of comparative laboratory and field tests of the protective properties of conservation oils domestic and foreign manufacturers.

Prediction of the type of structure after extrusion in products from hardly-deformed aluminum alloys based on the results of mathematical modeling

The article briefly summarizes the available experience in predicting and controlling the structure during hot pressing of hardly-deformed aluminum alloys.

On the basis of mathematical experiments using the QForm software package, the dependencies of the strain rate on the main technological parameters are obtained in the case of extrusion of the hard-deformed D16 aluminum alloy. Using these equations and the previously obtained dependences for temperature, according to the Weinblat diagrams, it is possible to predict and within certain limits to control the appearance of the structure in the finished products.

On the choice of numerical calculation method in dealing with plastic problems associated with the manufacture of complex parts

Numerical modeling of plastic tasks of sheet punching is carried out, computational algorithms are proposed. Two examples of solutions for parts of odd-shaped parts are considered. Theoretical calculations are confirmed by experimental data.
